Equipment rental

Student Pickup on Departure Date

Students are to be picked up at a Gunther bus location, usually a shopping center, near the high school through which they signed up for the trip. On school days, the pick up time is between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. About one week prior to the trip, you will be notified by mail as to the time and location.

Please remember to limit your luggage to one large bag, one small carry-on bag and ski equipment or snowboard.

Students may take food and drink with them on the bus. We also recommend a pillow and a blanket to make the ride more comfortable. The bus makes several stops along the way, including a stop for dinner, breaks and a stop for new drivers to board in New York state.

Return Time and Location

Students are dropped off at the same location where the bus departed from several days earlier.  Generally the time of return is early in the morning, around 5:00 a.m. or 6:00 a.m. Weather conditions and mechanical problems can affect the scheduled time. You can visit the website after 8 p.m. on the night before the day of our return and during the night for updated information on arrival times. Updates are given only if necessary. If there’s no change from the original time, there will be no news.
